Ximena supports searchers in process and operations analysis, business modeling, and the overall due diligence process.
Ximena leverages 7+ years of experience as an investor to support searchers throughout their entire journey, from sourcing to post-acquisition integration.
Since joining Relay in 2021, Ximena has developed meaningful pattern recognition through reviewing over 100 deals and speaking with countless active and prospective searchers. Ximena is known for leveraging her finance and transaction background to assist searchers during the due diligence phase, where she dives deep into process and operations analysis, business modeling, and plays a crucial role in directing successful acquisition outcomes.
Before her tenure at Relay, Ximena spent nearly five years at Nexus Group, a prominent private equity firm in Peru with over $1 billion in AUM. While at Nexus, she worked as both an investor and operator, assuming critical roles within portfolio companies, including serving as Chief Financial Officer for Innova Schools Mexico.
In her spare time, Ximena enjoys swimming, bouldering, getting together with friends and family, and scouting tickets to Taylor Swift concerts, both near and far. She is an active reader of fiction and can quote most lines from the Harry Potter series. Ximena holds an MBA from Stanford GSB, where she began her involvement with the ETA community, and a BS in Industrial Engineering from the Universidad de Lima.
